I love that you get pissed at people who have an opinion about the shows they watch and the characters/pairings they like. I'm sure when someone disagrees with your opinions you get even more pissed because of course you are always right!

I’m not pissed that they disagree. I am pissed that they are using a TV show as a scapegoat rather than doing something about the actual issue itself. I could find something lacking in every single show that exists when it comes to social issues…but I don’t because that is why we have such a variety on TV options. Further, if a show, be it intentionally or otherwise, brings a social issue to light for me, I’ll become proactive in making a fix. But whining about how sexist a TV show is doesn’t stop sexism. That is what has me pissed at the core. 

The other thing is trying to compare one character with another character when they are to be seen as people. We each have our own back stories and situations that will cause us to react differently to the same stimuli.
